Privacy policy
This site collects as little as possible. This page explains what is collected when you sign up, why, who processes it, and how to get it changed or deleted.
01 Who is responsible
Vasco Monteiro, acting personally and not on behalf of any employer, is the controller of the personal data collected on this site. You can reach me through the contact link at the bottom of this page.
02 What I collect
When you sign up for the newsletter or a waitlist: your email address and which form you used (for example the newsletter or the course waitlist). When you ask for the calculator's Excel model, also your first name.
Anonymous usage data: Vercel Web Analytics counts page views and a few calculator events (for example that a result was shown, with the volume and automation rate in broad bands such as "10k to 100k"). It sets no cookies, stores no personal data and never receives the numbers you type.
Nothing else. The site has no advertising trackers and sets no cookies. Fonts, images and the interview video are served from this site, so no third-party video or font service sees your visit.
03 Why, and on what legal basis
To send you the newsletter or tell you when something you joined a waitlist for opens. The legal basis is your consent (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a)), which you confirm by clicking the link in the confirmation email and can withdraw at any time.
04 Who processes it
Kit (ConvertKit LLC) stores the email list and sends the emails, under its data processing agreement. Kit is based in the United States, so your data may be transferred there; Kit covers such transfers with the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.
Vercel Inc. hosts this site. Like any web host it processes technical data such as IP addresses in server logs to deliver pages and keep the site secure.
05 How long it is kept
Until you unsubscribe. Every email has a one-click unsubscribe link. After you unsubscribe, your address is removed from the active list.
06 Your rights
You can ask to access, correct, delete or export your data, object to its use, or withdraw consent at any time, by contacting me. You also have the right to complain to a data protection authority; in Portugal that is the CNPD (cnpd.pt).
